Fibre is where a data centre programme gets caught. Anyone can pull a cable; far fewer can splice consistently, test properly and produce documentation that survives a client audit. That is the skill in short supply across Europe, and it is the one we recruit for hardest.
Every fibre engineer we offer has evidence behind the claim — references from previous sites, not a line on a CV. If the discipline is not proven, they do not go on your list.
The same crews work in the UK, across mainland Europe, and in Malaysia and Singapore, so a multi-site programme can be covered from one contract.
Splicing

Questions we get asked
- Can I hire a single fibre optic engineer, or only a crew?
- Either. We supply one specialist into your existing team just as readily as a complete crew with its own supervisor.
- What test equipment do the engineers bring?
- Tell us the certification your client requires and we confirm in writing before mobilisation what the engineer carries and what the site must provide. We do not leave that to be discovered on day one.
- How do you verify fibre competence?
- Evidence of the discipline claimed, backed by references from previous sites — not self-declaration. Cards, tickets and medical fitness are checked alongside it, and the pack is issued to you before anyone travels.
- Do you supply fibre engineers outside the UK?
- Yes. Mainland Europe from one UK contract with A1 certificates, posting declarations and local site cards handled by us, plus our own crews in Malaysia and Singapore.
- What is the rate?
- One day rate per engineer, agreed in writing before travel, covering the man, our management and our insurance. Send the trade, the location and the dates and you will have it back the same working day.
