Fibre is where a data-centre handover gets held up: splices that drift, the wrong test tier, results nobody can tie to a link. Every fibre engineer we put forward has a site reference for the work claimed, and a card that shows the fibre pathway.

Splicing
Single-fibre and ribbon fusion splicing, single-mode and multimode, to trays, cassettes and closures, with the loss budget held to your specification.

Testing
Tier 1 with an OLTS or a light source and power meter, and Tier 2 with an OTDR where the specification asks. Results in your client's format.

Termination
MPO trunks to cassettes, with polarity (Method A, B or C) checked against the drawing. LC and SC terminated, and end-faces inspected before mating.

Infrastructure
Blown fibre, ducting, containment, fibre management and backbone builds.

Documentation
As-builts, labelling to TIA-606 and handover files, produced as the work goes in.

Cards checked
The ECS fibre pathway, card expiry and right to work, checked before a name reaches you.

Can I hire a single fibre optic engineer, or only a team?
Either. One specialist into your own team, or a team of splicers and testers with a team lead.
What test equipment do the engineers bring?
Tell us the certification your client requires. Before mobilisation we confirm in writing what the engineer brings and what the site provides.
How do you check fibre competence?
A reference from a previous site for the work claimed, and the card pathway that matches it. Cards and right to work are checked alongside, and the pack reaches you before anyone travels.
Do you supply fibre engineers outside the UK?
Yes. Mainland Europe from one UK contract, with A1 certificates, posting declarations and local site cards handled by us.
What is the rate?
One day rate per engineer, agreed in writing before travel. Send the role, the region and the dates, and it comes back in writing.
