A data centre cabling contractor for your structured cabling and fibre package
We take the cabling package from M&E and fit-out contractors and end clients, and own it to handover: install, terminate, test, label and document, for one price agreed in writing.
Cabling sits near the end of a data-centre programme, so a late or rejected test pack moves the handover date. Our own site lead runs the package on the tools, reports at the end of each shift, and checks every result against your specification before it goes to the consultant.
We take comms rooms, fibre backbones, fit-out cabling and data-hall areas. The first reply says whether a package is the right size for us.
GO2DATAWORKS LTD was incorporated in February 2026. Before that, our founders and engineers worked on data-centre programmes as engineers, supervisors and crew leads for other contractors. References from the project managers we worked for are available at tender or PQQ stage, with their permission.
If you need engineers under your own site manager instead, we supply them on a day rate, on separate terms.

Copper
Cat6 and Cat6A installed, terminated and labelled to your schedule and TIA-606.

Fibre
OS2 and OM4, spliced or pre-terminated. MPO trunks to cassettes, with polarity (Method A, B or C) checked against the drawing before anyone tests.

Containment and racks
Tray, basket and cabinet builds to the drawing, where they are in our scope.

Testing
Every link tested to the limit your specification names: Tier 1 loss, and an OTDR where it asks for Tier 2.

Handover pack
Results named by cable ID in the tester's own files, ports labelled at both ends, and the pack indexed to your specification.

One price in writing
For the scope, with stage payments set out in the contract. A change to the scope is priced in writing before the work is done.
Questions we get asked.
What size of package do you take on?
Comms rooms, fibre backbones, fit-out cabling and data-hall areas. The first reply says whether the package is the right size for us, so you do not wait to find out.
Who runs the package on site?
Our own site lead, on the tools, who sends progress, issues and the next day's plan at the end of each shift.
Which prequalification schemes do you hold?
Tell us which ones your supply chain asks for. Each comes back marked: held today, or in progress with a date. We do not claim a scheme before we hold it.
Do you also supply engineers?
Yes, on separate terms. Engineers work to your programme and your site manager on a day rate.
Will you approach our client?
No. And if our engineers are already on your job through another contractor, we do not approach that job's main contractor or client.
